Ashbell McElveen
A regular guest chef on Great Food Live, Ashbell McElveen hails from South Carolina.
His cooking reflects the wonderful dishes from that part of the States, combining the influences of countries as diverse as Britain, France, Native America and Africa.
Ashbell was born into a family of foodies: his mother's side was famous for their barbequed style meats, while his father's was infamous for making Bourbon whisky!
A star of many TV cookery shows in America, Ashbell has also launched his own brand of barbecue sauce and is the chef heading up the new cafe at London's Serpentine Gallery.
