Conrad Gallagher
One of Ireland's most acclaimed chefs, Donegal-born Conrad Gallagher (guest chef on Great Food Live) learned his basic cooking skills from his mother.
After starting his working life as an 11-year-old pot-washer in his local hotel, Conrad has gone on to cook in some of the world's leading restaurants and hotels, including the Trump Plaza and the Waldorf Astoria in New York.
At the age of 24 he opened up his first restaurant, the award-winning Peacock Alley in Dublin, and later launched Lloyds Brasserie, Christopher's Brasserie and Mango Toast in Dublin as well as Conrad Gallagher Shaftesbury Avenue in London.
