Marian is spot on with her comment, this applies to all recipes, they give basic tips on ingredients and techniques, although they may be tried and tested they are not cast in concrete. The great joy of cooking is to experiment to find the combination of tastes and textures that YOU and your family, friends and guests like, not to slavishly follow the ideas of others, no matter how good they may be. You never know how good a cook you may be until you try. Cook on!!
Tried this recipe in my Tagine and its one of the best chicken dishes I have tasted. I used the chorizo sausage in place of the Turkish sausage. Going to try it with Lamb next time Marian Stewart, Paisley
