Bored of ryvita and jam, food writer Pippa Kendrick decided to turn her wheat, dairy, soya, egg and yeast intolerance into something positive eight years ago and has been cooking innovative allergy friendly recipes ever since.

Pippa, aka The Intolerant Gourmet, is convinced that allergy friendly food can be just as delicious as the regular kind, and she devotes her blog to trying out new recipes.

Pippa, who lives in Norfolk, has written recipes for Allergy UK, Doves Farm and contributed to Sainsbury's magazine. Her first book, The Intolerant Gourmet, will be published in February 2012 with Harper Collins.
