A former Food Editor and Acting Food Director of BBC Good Food magazine, freelance food writer Angela Nilsen creates recipes that are simple to make but will inspire even the most experienced cook.
Angela is famed for her ‘Ultimate’ series and cookbook, where she lends her meticulous approach to experimenting with classic dishes to find a definitive and foolproof recipe. From towering Yorkshire puddings to decadent chocolate cake, Angela’s methodical process of trial and error guided her and her readers to the perfect result, winning her the 2004 Glenfiddich Cookery Writer Award and The Guild of Food Writers’ Cookery Journalist of the Year.
