Jason Atherton
Jason Atherton, a protégé of Gordon Ramsay, is head chef at the innovative Maze restaurant, in London. Here he is renowned for bringing Asian influences to traditional French cuisine.
Jason worked and trained with Pierre Koffman at La Tante Claire, Nico Ladenis and with Marco Pierre White's team to help launch The Restaurant at the Hyde Park Hotel. He was also the first British chef to work at Spain's famous El Bulli restaurant.
Jason first achieved critical acclaim when he set up the French restaurant L'Anis in London. On its closure, he was taken on by Gordon Ramsay to open Verre in Dubai. In 2005 Jason become Executive Chef at Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant, Maze.
