Vicky Bhogal

Vicky Bhogal is the author of the award winning book Cooking Like Mummyji.

Second generation British-Indian, Vicky writes about British-Asian cooking from a fresh new angle. Her first book won the Jeremy Round award for Best First Book at the Guild of Food Writers Awards in 2004. She followed it with A Year of Cooking Like Mummyji.

Vicky is also a proponent of Fairtrade food, and is a spokesperson for the Fairtrade Foundation. To help this cause she wrote a charity cookbook, A Fair Feast, full of recipes from celebrities from Sir Elton John to Nigella Lawson.
