Sophie Michell

Young chef Sophie Mitchell combines a passion for good food with her knowledge of healthy eating.

Sophie started her professional career cooking full-time at fifteen years old. She worked in London restaurants including the Greenhouse, the Embassy, the Lanesborough and Zilli Fish Too. She then became private chef and nutritionist for a top super models for two years. In 2001 she was nominated for Young Chef of the Year award.

Her television experience spans her career, from her first appearance on BBC's As seen on TV (1994), aged twelve. She has since appeared as a guest on a variety of programmes, including regular appearances on Market Kitchen.
