Manju Malhi

Manju Malhi combines her Indian heritage with her British upbringing to create her own style of Brit-Indi cooking.

Manju split her childhood between North West London and India, and in her cooking has explored the flavours of the two nations. In 1999 she won the BBC Food and Drink competition and a chance to cook with Antony Worrall Thompson on TV.

In 2001 Manju filmed her own TV series, Simply Indian and followed this with her first book, Brit Spice in 2002. In 2004 she published India with Passion.

Manju has contributed pieces to many newspapers and magazines and made television appearances on a range of programmes including Market Kitchen.
