Nancy Lam

The incomparable Nancy Lam, a guest chef on Great Food Live, was born in Singapore. She learned the basics of oriental cookery from her grandmother, going on to experiment with Thai, Indian and other cuisines.

Nancy moved to London at the age of 22 and trained as a nurse. She moved into professional cooking after catering for hotel guests and hosting regular charity barbecues. Various glowing articles put her in the spotlight, and a TV career followed. Nancy's simple, inspiring recipes have established her as one of the most popular chefs in Britain.
