Mistakenly bought palm oil instead of palm sugar

Hi again Gloria & thanks for the tips. I've checked my local ASDA for frozen garlic & ginger (Taj is the make) as they're advertised on their website - but no success. So I noted their product number & phoned them. They couldn't find any trace of these products now.

Hi 1st time on messageboard, so bear with me please if I'm a bit unclear. Basically I want to know if there's a "rule of thumb" for measuring how much dried herbs should replace fresh if the latter's not available eg dried coriander, parsley etc
