I've just recently bought 2 new cake tins - quite expensive, so I can't really not use them - they measure 8.5 inches across the bottom and then 9 inches across the top. They are about 1.5 inches deep. Now I'm struggling now to find a recipe that uses this size of tin. I just tried to make a cake using them and I increased the ingredients on a 7 inch tin recipe by half and they turned out like pancakes. Can anyone give me a basic cake mixture I should use that would give a decent cake to turn out. Any help or ideas gratefully received. Thanks

I too would love to know how to make it. I've often looked for it in recipe books and asked on other message boards but with no luck. I know it has yoghurt in but then I'm stumped.

I missed the beginning of Rachel Allen's show yesterday she had just made what was advertised as 'Winter Broth'. It contained chorizo and haricot beans but I can't find the recipe on the website. Would anybody be able to help? Many Thanks

Why can't they tell you when the next episode is straight after the programme has finished? They don't list this channel in our newspaper's TV Page and when I try to find future listings thru our cable channel it claims to be 'searching for info' Most frustrating!
