al is certainley better dressed since you "battered" into her on the original post.Deborah. I aint a fan and steven is so typical Im outraged that no one seems to be bothered about their dress code on mk they are meant to be professionals but they aint coming across tho. Its meant to be laid back I know but zzzzzzz wake me up if anything changes .for the better

Market Kitchen - Heather Mills
ok calm down. first of all del your right not everyone can make a good curry in fact I have tasted some watery homemade curries. However pb does make a very good argument. I never want to see Heather Mills on ANY cooking show. I find her an abnoxcious person (polite word for what I want to call her) She is a very clever astute business woman and Im sorry for her loss (you know what I mean) but for goodness sake Heather disappear. You had your chance, blew it and you aint no Diana as you once thought you were.Never could be.

looking for some career advice - again
although late to this discussion I totally agree with cdm. Go on murdrobe forge ahead never mind that muppet on the spelling who needs that if you have cooking talent. look at Ramsey. And his obnoxcious "talent" of getting the point across. Go on my friend knock on every door tell them how great you are sell yourself! Here's the point....Is this your dream? chase it then!
Mon 21 Sep 2009, 7.51PM

NO! not other haf...........my mini chef!!

makes 12. 225g self raising flour. pinch salt. 1 teaspoon of baking powder. 55g butter. 2 tablespoons caster sugar. 85g fruit. 1 egg (beated to light) little milk (hold some in reserve.preheat ( a must) oven 220/gas7sieve the flour bp and salt into a large bowl. lightly rub in butter until the mixture resembles bread crumbs. stir sugar and fruit in then the egg and some milk. make a soft dough, turn onto floured surface and kneed very gently til thickness of 2cm. baking sheet lightly and I mean meanly floured brush with beaten egg or milk. 8-10minutes until golden and risen. remove and cool. works for me. remember you want a soft dough so watch the milk. good luck.

giro check again the herbs are in little red boxes and the name is norot. The chopped garlic is a packet (Fullers foods) F Rock chopped garlic. Tue 15 Sep 2009, 3.25PM
dont forget good old fashioned spag bols..mince n potatos and/or soups all can be fashioned to aid a baby. corned beef/veg/or beans with mash always worked for my brood. I agree look for bargains at supermarkets know your busy n tired but try a day of batch cooking fresh veg blanch and freeze will help you out a lot.Eggy bread too can be adapted with loads of flavours other than cheese.

hello again. Well as mad foodies I suppose the art of chopping and dicing is part of the thrill of preparing a fabby dish.I know I advocated the frozen herbs but I also want to let you know I use frozen mixed peppers, mushrooms, onions and chopped garlic. Trust me they are a find. Last night I made a fabby sauce for spaghetti with those ingredients and added in chopped (jar) bevelini chillies ( 2) and tinned tomatos. Now dont assume Im lazy but tea last night was a hurry up one. I do the fresh stuff too and bake every other day. Enjoy. Ive loads of recipes using these ingredients e.g chilli con carne etc.,

Asda do Frozen herbs they are fabby! I have parsley basil and corriander. little cubes just pop them out a few minutes before serving add to food and stir till disolved they are great. Parsley brilliant for making garlic butter for baguettes or whatever.
