With the internet getting your ealier seal of approval, it was no surprise that Tim Berners Lee, the inventor of the internet, got the most votes (49%) as the greatest inventor of the last 50 years. Bill Gates (Microsoft Windows) was second with 16.9% while good old Wilson Greatbach, the inventor of the internal pacemaker, gained 14.5%.
