The sharks Jordi was looking for on Elphinstone Reef in the Red Sea, Egypt, had departed to deeper water. So he decided to finish the dive but stay a short time to look at the breathtaking spectacle of waves crashing down above the beautiful reef. © Jordi Chias, Sky And Reef - Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2006, owned by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine and sponsored by Shell, the 2007 exhibition open on 27 October.
