Billy Connolly's World Tour Of England, Ireland and Wales

Billy Connolly's World Tour Of England, Ireland and Wales

When you think about it, the order in which Billy conducted his World Tours makes no sense. It goes: Scotland, Australia, England-Ireland-Wales, New Zealand.

When it would have been far more logical to go: Scotland, England-Ireland-Wales, Australia, New Zealand.

But logic's for wimps. So, here we are back in Blighty (and Ireland) after the Australia trip, and Billy's ready to do his thing. Which he does, with a banjo, in a Dublin pub. Imagine walking into that on a night out.

He'll also be visiting Belfast (to take a typically irreverent tour of the Republican and Loyalist areas), Cardiff, and London - where he starts climbing stuff again. Having conquered the Sydney Opera House, he now goes up the Westminster clock tower to get up close and personal with Big Ben. Somebody stop him from ringing it please...

When is it on?

The series is currently off-air.
