Dave's One Night Stand
It's back! Dave's brilliant stand-up-series-with-a-twist returns for a new series with another batch of some of the nation's best stand-ups.
The set-up is the same: a top comedian returns to his or her hometown for a special one-off gig in front of their home crowd. With a brilliant warm-up act, and each star turn showing us around the place where they grew up, Dave's One Night Stand provides a unique spin on the stand-up show.
This series includes Pub Landlord Al Murray storming the Shepherd's Bush Empire, Angelos Epithemiou and his trusty carrier bag heading to The Assembly Rooms in Derby, Patrick Kielty making a triumphant return to the Belfast Opera House, Milton Jones and his off-the-wall observations appear Richmond Theatre and Andrew Maxwell performing at the Hackney Empire (even though he's Irish).
When is it on?

Help! Im trying to find the name of a comedian I saw on this a few weeks back. All I can remember was his joke about the Wind in the Willows - something like "getting rat last night". Any suggestions as to who it was?

Do we know when it will be aired?

I agree with Matt. The E Ticket clearly states that you need to arrive at least 45-60 mins before the opening time on the ticket as it does not guarantee entry. I also went to Angelos Epithemiou's Derby performance last night (arriving at 5:30pm) and it was excellent! Can't wait to watch it again when it is aired!

Ignore the comment before mine. The eticket they claim to have read also states that the eticket is not a guarantee of entry, and that you should arrive "in plenty of time" for the event. I turned up at 5:30 (so not "hours early" as claimed you need to, and got good seats. Yes, tickets were distributed at around 6, but they were distributed in the same order as if they'd given them out an hour later, i.e the order of the queue that would still have been the same queue an hour later. Lastly, they have clearly never been to a TV taping before - they ALWAYS give out more etickets than seats because they want every seat full, and the only way to guarantee that is to oversubscribe it. It's a very fun evening (which I just got back from) so if you ever get the chance, do it, and you'll only need to turn up ONE hour before doors to get decent seats.

Don,t know whos performing but the way the tickets were given out was shambolic. The E tickets given out stated doors would be open from 18.45 until doors shut at 19.15. Many people turned up from near and far to find out the tickets had been given away at 18.00 . Dave should be ashamed alot of people had a wasted journey. TO END if you recieve tickets from applause store to watch a DAVE stand up night , turn up four hours before stated time , otherwise don,t BOTHER.

Sarah Millican was really good, but if the 2 guys who were on the show with her are her friends, she should get some new friends !! They were pathetic.
