Stephen Fry In America

Stephen Fry In America

You can’t keep a good national treasure down, and Stephen Fry In America gives Sir Stephen of Fryshire the chance to show us he’s really good at something else - hosting very entertaining travelogue series.

With an iconic black British cab in tow, Sir Stephenshire sets out on epic journey across the country he was almost born in (his father turned down a job at Princeton just before his son was born), aiming to visit every one of Uncle Sam’s states.

He starts his trek in leafy New England, and then gets to work meeting the people, experiencing the customs and seeing just how massive and diverse the USA really is.

Standby for civil war battlefields in Pennsylvania, witches in Salem, nuclear submariners in Connecticut, mobsters in NYC, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, banjo players and indigenous language speakers in the Deep South, a real-life Magnum PI in LA and Big Foot believers on the West Coast.
