High Altitude
Welcome to the mad, mad world of winter extreme sports. Skiing, snowboarding, bobsleigh, ice diving, sky diving… you name it, High Altitude has it all.
Dude, I beefed on that one so badly! That pow was so rad! Don’t know what we’re talking about? Welcome to the mad, mad world of winter extreme sports. Skiing, snowboarding, bobsleigh, ice diving, sky diving… you name it, High Altitude has it all.
Hosted by winter sports presenter Ed Leigh and former ski champ Graham Bell, the eight-part series sees the barmy pair rope in celebrities to take on some seriously extreme snow-based challenges.
Take the first episode. Ed and Graham are in New Zealand attempting to cross between two mountain peaks using a 100m length of rope. Strictly Come Dancing star Jodie Kidd joins in and tries a spot of heliskiing. That’s quite a start.
Then it’s off to the Swiss Alps with actor Ralph Little for a spot of sky diving, and a marathon ski race with ex-England rugby internationals Jeremy Guscott and Brian Moore. Other episodes see Britain’s leading skeleton racers, Shelley Rudman and Kristan Bromley, prepare for a run down one of the most dangerous tracks in Europe and Ed and Graham learn about lifesaving skills in the Alps.
Quite literally awesome.
When is it on?
The series is currently off-air.
