Creating Kryten for Red Dwarf X
Did you know the Kryten make-up used to take five hours to apply, back when Robert Llewellyn first donned the mechanoid mask for Series III? Five hours!! They’ve got it down to just under an hour now, the clever things. Just think – at that rate, it’ll probably only take about ten minutes by Series XVI.

I think those Kryten Masks are amazing,I was wondering, would I be able to buy one of your spare mask s nd if so how much would they cost because I am a fan of Red Dwarf and I love the programme so much and I would love to have a Kryten mask to add to my collection e.g Dvds and models.
How I would be able to get hold of the mask of my favourite Character, I think the mask is fantastically made and I would love to have one someday, Whenever I feel upset or sad I'd always watch Red Dwarf to cheer myself up but also cause it is the best comdey sci fi program ever. Well done Craig,Danny,Chris and Robert you always make people including me laugh and I hope Red Dwarf lives on in all our thoughts. Good job. guys.
That Kryten mask is amazing, Kryten is my favourite character in Red Dwarf, I would give anything to own a mask of Kryten myself. I have always loved the series and the episodes. Long live Red Dwarf.
But where do all the calculators go!?
Interesting how much Robert looks like Renee Zellweger in the 'before' picture...
