DAVE’S ONE NIGHT STAND AWARD - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. NAME OF PRIZE DRAW: Dave’s One Night Stand Award


2. PRIZE ENTRY:

Entrants are asked to vote for their favourite comedy club from the list of participating comedy nights, which is available to view on the Dave Facebook page.


3. PRIZE:

There shall be one (1) first prize winner, five (5) second prize winners, ten (10) third prize winners and twenty five (25) runner-up prize winners. The prizes are set out below:

(a) One (1) x A Panasonic Viera LED HD 1080p 3D Smart TV, 55 Inch with Freeview HD and 4 pairs of 3D glasses (the “First Prize”);

(b) Five (5) x New Apple iPad, 16GB, wifi & cellular, A5X 1GHz Dual-Core, 9.7” display (the “Second Prize”);

(c) Ten (10) x Pure Digital Radios (the “Third Prize”); and

(d) Twenty Five (25) x pairs of tickets to Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival (the “Runner Up Prizes”)

The prizes are awarded at UKTV’s discretion and no prizes will be awarded as a result of improper action by or on behalf of an entrant.

No alternative prizes will be given and the prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, UKTV reserves the right to change any of the prizes due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer an alternative prize of similar value.


4. SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS:

All entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the date of entry and be a legal resident in the United Kingdom.

Employees of UKTV, any company associated with the vote and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the vote

Entry is free via Facebook however all entrants must have the internet service bill payer’s permission prior to entering.

Entry via text message is charged at the standard text rate of 10 pence per text message sent by the entrant. Charges will be deducted from the entrant’s available credit time, if they are a pre-pay customer and if the entrant is a pay-monthly customer the charge will appear on their monthly bill. All entrants voting by text must have the mobile telephone bill payer’s permission prior to entering.

It is your responsibility to pay any and all applicable taxes on prizes.


5. VOTING PERIOD:

The vote will be open between midday on Wednesday 7th November 2012 and 23.59 on Monday 31st December 2012 (the “Voting Period”).

Any entries received outside of the Voting Period for whatever reason will be invalid but you may still be charged for the entry where costs apply.

6. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION:

The Prize winners will be the first entrants to be selected at random after the end of the Voting Period from all eligible entries received (the “Winners”). The first correct entry to be drawn will be allocated the First Prize, the next five correct entries drawn will be allocated the Second Prize, with subsequent entries allocated the remaining prizes in accordance with the position drawn. UKTV shall have the final overall decision over prize winner selection and this decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Each of the prize winners must claim their relevant prizes by successfully responding to UKTV’s notification within 21 days of UKTV’s first notification being sent. Failure to successfully claim the relevant prizes within the timeline stipulated may result in the prizes being forfeited and alternate winner(s) being selected at random in accordance with the procedure set out above, who may have a shorter period of time to claim the prize.

Winners of the First, Second and Third Prizes should allow 28 days for delivery of their respective prizes from the date they successfully claim their prize. The Runner-Up Prizes shall be delivered in early 2013 after the tickets have been printed. UKTV will not be liable if any prize fails to reach you or you cannot take it for reasons beyond our control, or if any prize is damaged during delivery.


7. METHOD OF ENTRY & COST:

You can enter this prize draw by:

(a) Text/SMS – by texting the code for your favourite comedy club to 67777. The entrant will receive a text/ SMS confirming their entry, which may include information about the programme or other services relating to the prize draw;

(b) free of charge by liking the DAVE Facebook page administered by UKTV at http://www.facebook.com/davewittybanter and voting for your favourite comedy night.



8. ENTRY LIMITATIONS:

Only one entry per person is allowed and in the case of multiple entries, only the original entry will be counted.


9. PRIZE PROVIDER:

The First Prize, Second Prizes and Runner Up Prizes shall be provided by UKTV.

The Third Prizes shall be provided by Absolute Radio.

10. This vote is offered to you by UKTV Interactive Limited ("UKTV”). Our registered office is at 245 Hammersmith Road, London W6 8PW and our company registration number is 3950210.

11. This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to UKTV and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for the purpose of administrating this prize draw.

12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
