Carreg Cennen Castle
What remains today dates to King Edward I's momentous period of castle-building in Wales. It's a tough climb to the top - but the views are stunning and you can see its war wounds from the War of the Roses and medieval fortress construction at its best.
For added intrigue, it has a spooky tunnel built into the side of the cliff leading to a cave with a well and prehistoric remains.
