About the show
Out with his German fridge, the French pots and pans, the made in China knives and the Japanese TV. Even his M&S undies are made in Sri Lanka, so our little experiment leaves Dom with virtually nothing.

There’s only one thing for it. His mission – yes, he chose to accept it – is to restock his home and his wardrobe with British-made goods, and he’ll have to travel all over the British Isles to find them. Get ready for one remarkable road trip.

As well as uncovering how the way we live, work and shop has changed over the years, Dom meets the British craftspeople behind our local products and gets a taste of the dogged determination, sense of tradition – or just plain whimsicality – that keeps them going.
