Best known for her role as Jenny Gifford in the brilliant Cold Feet, Fay became a household name playing the long-suffering wife of John Gifford (John Thompson).
Since then the Wimbledon-born celeb, who appeared in the tongue-in-cheek horror film Mute Witness and the well-received romance Rosanna's Grave, has added to her CV with a series of high-profile appearances in TV dramas, from Dead Gorgeous to The Stretford Wives.
