The award winning comedian and journalist became a household hit after his successful anarchic surrealist sketch show, Trigger Happy TV, screened in 1999.
Television projects since include: This is Dom Joly - spoof chatshow, World Shut Your Mouth - worldwide prank show, Dom Joly's Excellent adventure - documentary capturing his return to his childhood home in Beirut, and Dom Joly's Happy Hour - travel series with a tongue-in-cheek investigation into the attitude of alcohol around the world. His most recent televised success was The Complainers, the show where Joly gets revenge on annoying hierarchy for the ordinary Brit.
When he's not in front of the camera, Joly is a columnist for The Independent, travel writer for The Sunday Times and is the author of spoof autobiography, Look at me, Look at me!.
