my maiden name is kennedy. i have been researching my family history while watching 'who do you think you are'.i found the mac kennedies in dumfries and galloway were noblemen in scotland and scottish ambassadors from mary stuart back to king macbeth of alba, and related to king john 1 of alba who lost his crown to robert the bruce.then i found the kennedy clan in county clair and tipperary in 10th century ireland under the reign of high king brian o'boru. but i find the kennedy clan in scotland fighting the romans with the graham clan, causing the romans to build 'grahams dyke'. irish friends insist kennedy is an irish name but most kennedys now live in scotland.
i am roman catholic , baptised at birth in chelsea, london. i practised in south wales in 1960's but then i lapsed, but i am back recieving holy communion again after being confirmed in west midlands.my sons are now 35(graham) and 32(chris) years old. i am looking for my father who i have not seen since 1961 in cardiff. i would also like my sons to contact eachother again after 3 years and to send me photos, my health is not going to hold out for long. i would like my fathers photos and to meet him if he is still alive..
