I love Jaffa Cakes don't get me wrong. But are they biscuits?
If so, then I can't wait for them to be Biscuit of the Week (I get to eat them all week, guilt free, it's work after all).
But if no - why are they only found in the biscuit aisle? Can someone please explain this strange phenomenon?
Thanks

Hi Pirbright
Just to let you know that UKTV History is still being broadcast on Freeview channel 12. It sounds like you need to re-scan your set top box. You should have UKTV History on 12 and Dave on 19. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the history home page or use this link: [link]
Hope that helps.

Hi all,
UKTV provides a range of high quality channels in the entertainment, factual and lifestyle genres. We are a commercial venture funded by subscription revenues from the Virgin Media and Sky pay TV platforms and by advertising.
In order to maximise our investment into our portfolio of channels we need to continually explore ways of increasing our income, of which advertising constitutes the largest part. As the biggest and fastest-growing platform, Freeview offers us the greatest opportunity to grow our audience share which in turn drives advertising revenue. Whilst we have very many loyal UKTV History fans whom we value hugely, based on viewing behaviour to our various channels in pay homes, we believe that Dave will attract an even larger audience in Freeview.
I hope this goes a bit further to explain our position.
Thanks
Sharron

Hi Tanks3,
I'm not exactly sure which museum they are talking about - but there are two that might be of interest. The Manx Museum in Douglas or the Nautical Museum in Castletown.
Hope that helps

Thousands of votes missing from Britain's Best
Hi Marianne
Yes you're right. Some people have been voting 1000's of times for each venue - so we have had to take away those votes - just to be completely fair to all venues.
Hope that explains the missing votes.
Thanks

Sex, Love and War: We want YOUR stories
UKTV History has a brand new show starting next month called Sex, Love and War – and we want to hear from you!
Were you in a relationship during the Second World War that was considered taboo? Did you have an affair? Are you the result of a relationship that was ‘frowned upon’? Have you been reunited with a lost love?
Whether you lived through World War Two or your parents or grand parents did - we want to hear about it.

Have you researched your family tree?
We're looking for people who've had success in researching their family history?

1000 Years of History: 17th Century
Hi Quaint
Thanks for your comment. 1000 Years of History isn't a programme as such - its a group of programmes which are about the 17th Century, for example. So the programmes to look out for, are Kings and Queens of England, The History of Britain and what If.
If these programmes are showing at the moment then you can find them in the TV Listings section of the website called: What's On.
I hope that helps.
