DAVE-IN-OZ are you still around ... esp re New Tricks theme song?

New Tricks is the greatest show on Drama! I have all 3 series on DVD and am waiting for Series 4 to come out on DVD. Also it's around this time the BBC show a new series on BBC One. The BBC are definitely making series 5 as I saw it in a newspaper last year.

I watched a repeat of the very first episode (excellent!0 a few days ago. It had the original Travelling Wilburys song End of the Line as the theme song and even a credit for it.

so would I, i have searched for ages on the internet but cant find it :(

If you watch the repeats on ITV3 (or maybe ITV4 - I can't remember) they play almost the whole tune but that idiot announcer still talks halfway through just as the one on BBC does - why do they do that??

Have just emailed the BBC to ask when series 4 maybe getting repeated and if they are making a series 5. I did get a response which surprised me in the first place but was told that they only finished showing series 4 very recently and there is no lans as yet to repeat it and there has been no decision yet to make a series 5 unless the public let them know they are interested in a further series.

Even though I'm only twelve, new tricks is probably my 2nd or 3rd favourite programme ever - my 1st being Doctor who! Sorop I know the words off by heart by now, i watch it so much! . Search new tricks theme tune.

of the words would do ?

New Tricks is one of my favourite, just a shame that it is repeated so much.

New Tricks, must be the best show on TV, watched them all on BBC now enjoying a rerun,the stars all work well together and prove to be a great match for each other.

love the show but suffering NEW TRICKS itis lately!watched them all on BBC then rewatched them on uk drama a couple of weeks ago,now ,surprise surprise they are being aired on ukgold!!also repeated on bbc 1 on mondays!!you can have too much of a good thing you know!! from famouseccles in NOTTS

bbc drama / comedy at its absolute best . new tricks is brilliantly written with tremendous actors who compliment each other superbly . i programme i never tire of watching . more please much more.

This is my favorite programme. However, I wish the bloke would stop talking over the end of it. I love the signature tune and I wish Dennis Waterman would release it! Please STOP talking over it. Thankyou.

New Tricks is the best programme on TV!!! It is worth the licence fee alone!!! Long may the BBC see fit to keep making new episodes. I'm really really enjoying the re-runs on uktv drama and uktv gold, I never tire of watching.

I have watched New Tricks since the begining i enjoy watching the show very much however in the episode shown on Monday the 26th of may in the episode called Big Topped sandra pullman read the file on how her father had died in the file the name was john Halford and not Jack halford as we have all come to know ,

i am so happy i can see episodes of new tricks that i have missed not that i like to miss it!.
it is a great show

Didn't watch this when it was first shown but having caught a couple of episodes on this channel I'm now a new fan.
