Hello, this is my first message on this board so apologies in advance if I am asking a question which has already been flogged to death by countless others. However, could someone please explain to me (and anyone else I have asked about this and cannot answer the question): Since when has 'Last of the Summer Wine' been classified as Drama?
I thought the name of the TV Station, i.e. UKTV Drama meant 'Drama' not comedy. Am I wrong?
I am not slating 'Last of the Summer Wine' - I have very much enjoyed it in the past, but when it takes up 4 hours of viewing time every evening (please consult next week's schedule and you will see that this is the case) on a DRAMA channel and NOT UKTV Gold or a COMEDY channel, then I believe the name of the channel 'UKTV Drama' should be changed as it does not correctly reflect the programmes it purports to be broadcasting.
Thanks for reading this and I look forward to receiving the answer to my question.
