much of what they say is vague, a few words here and there with lots of laughter

just before they kiss william says that he is disappointed because he hasn't seen a green fairy.

julia says 'disappointed? we can't have that' then they kiss

when they are on the ground kissing julia says something about moving on, william says mrs kitchen doesn't allow visitors then they have a discusssion about using protection (prophylaxis) before calling a halt to the kissing

you can get the books through amazon, as yet they aren't available through british bookstores.

ideally you do need to read them in the order in which they are written

the series is very different, the books are much darker than the show and the characters a little harder. julia appears infrequently in the books and is very different but i love the books too.

no news as yet on the series 2 dvd release but series three has only just started shooting so i'm guessing it will start showing early next year

definately will be a series three, no dates for showing it over here though as yet

not sad at all, i watch the repeats too, it's one of the best shows on TV

yup, i had confirmation today from a source i know and trust totally, looking forward to series 3

liza has been mentioned a few times in series one and he is obviously still grieving for her, in that day married women didn't work, once married a woman had to give up work and i'm not sure julia is ready for that just yet. how times have changed!!

i liked sarah too, i could see her with william

i agree, tis show is getting better and better, i think julia is aware that william has a real problem over the abortion and maybe believes that she doesn't have a chance with him compared to a woman with a child plus she'd have to give up her job once she married and i'm not convinced she's ready to do that yet.

however, i think william is rethinking things with both women. the comment at the end of 'shall we ask the maiden?' was telling, i thought. we know he was and still is deeply in love with Liza and maybe he wonders if he could find that again with any woman.

no-one has announced a release date for series 2 dvds, can't come soon enough for many of us

i agree, every time i think it's as good as it's going to get, it gets better. loved the morgue scene and the interaction between brackenreid, george and higgins in the absence of william.

i think william and enid are good for each other, i was beginning to warm to julia but now i've changed my mind

at one point he says he's disappointed at the lack of green fairies and she says she doesn't want him to be disppointed, or something like that just before they kiss, was that the part you meant or when they are kissing and she suggests protection?

this series is getting better and better, such difficult issue to handle and a roller coaster of emotions

the Murdoch mysteries movies of the week with Peter Outerbridge are availble on dvd but only for region 1 (USA & Canada) but they will ply on a computer or if you have a multi region dvd player. you cn order them trouh Amazon.

Multi region dvd players are fairly cheap over here, around £35.00 from Comet or Currys. hope this helps

thank you for a whole week of Murdoch, but why only ten episodes?

i loved this eppy, so much humour and an interesting twist, along with the lead on a horse ;D hope this will be repeated and out on DVD soon. a great starting off point for season 2

another great eppy (the rebel and the prince), good to see constable higgins having more of a role. can't believe we only have one more before the series finishes. i hope they will run repeats and that we get a dvd soon.

i enjoyed this eppy (bad medicine) till William got shot. interesting twist with the killer and i'm seeing William and Julia as a couple more easily now she seems less 'silly' and giggly. interesting comment about men having 19% more brain than women, all i can say is, if that's actually true, which i doubt it's a shame they don't use it!!!!!!

wow, this week's was incredible, a very difficult subject handled brilliantly. i loved the humour interspersed and brackenreid's softening persona.

once again murdoch's compassion shone through, another great job by cast and crew

i watched 'heads you lose' last night, the outside shots of the hospital looked to be my local hospital (now closed) Worcester Royal Infirmary? can anyone confirm it?

woohoo, we're getting a second series of this fab programme, thank you to the decision makers

belly speaker isn't one of my favourite episodes but i enjoyed the humour and it had an interesting twist at the end.

as a nurse i found Murdoch's comments about being there for a loved one who's dying incredibly profound and moving.

i love his idea of what makes for light seaside summer reading, early genetics.

hoping that the powers that be are agreeing another series or more of this excellent series

another fab eppy, the lie detector was excellent and the doc seemed warmer and less frivolous this week, still not sure about them as a couple. the case was interesting, lots of twists and turns. praying we get lots more series' and a DVD

i thoroughly enjoyed this week's eppy, body double. Kate Trotter was excellent and i liked the insight in to Brackenreid's hopes and dreams before married life got in the way.
Murdoch was so sweet paying for the burial, i hope we get many more series of this wonderful show

woohoo, he's back and what a great eppy, so emotional and Yannick was wonderful. glad I had the tissues handy as he flashed back to his childhood and talked to Phillip. he was so kind to him, something i guess wasn't too common back then.
love the theme music too, sends tingles down my spine when i hear it.
looking forward to next week

this eppy was so moving, Yannick is doing a wonderful job in this role, i was in tears when his dead fiancee was giving him a message.
