was there a reason that Dalziel and Pascoe stopped? Ilove this programme unlike american programmes you can relate to the characters and you just feel at home with them! Big Grin

Who is the greatest Doctor Who?

I did vote for Tom Baker - bit David Tennant has made me cry the most as the doctor - very much in series 2 - all those reunions and leavetakings - half takes it out of a girl - but going back Tom Baker was Dr Who and laughing at monsters and offering Jelly Babies!! David also has that quality too and long (although I know he will not do many more episodes) may he reign!!! Angry Develish Tongue Wink

Britain's Best - Osborne House

I was born down the road from here and this was my playground but even though now I live on the mainland this piece of history just lives and breathes different to anywhere else in the world the sense of timelessness that you feel is so wonderful! Even now with some horrible adjustments for kids to play - I love this place. Go and soak up some atmosphere. Big Grin

Classic Drama on UKTV

I love the dramas like catherine cookson but would love the Pride and Prejudice from 1980 or so, Jane Eyre with Timothy Dalton, Emma from 1971?, Mansfield Park with Nick Farrell, and so on isn't Anna Massey brilliant as Mrs Norris? and Angela Pleasance and her pug!!! such indolence!!!! Big Grin
