I saw it and i LOVED it.
It was the one about the ventriloquist. It kept me on the edge of my seat (sofa) right until the end (and even past that). There were so many twists and turns i could only just keep up with it all-I'm only 12!
I'm definitely a fan and the whole family is planning to sit down and watch the next one together.

Definitely.
We were in Bristol today and bumped into the film crew along with the lead character! My mum, embarrassingly (who doesn't watch much tele!) asked the lead himself, what he was filming! 
It wasn't untill a few minutes later when speaking to a security guard onsite, that she realised that this was Murdoch Mysteries, a well known Canadian detective series filming it's third series. He also told us it was on Alibi, so we quickly got home from Bristol and had a look on the TV to see what this Murdoch Mysteries was all about. We are really looking forward to watching our first episode tomorrow at 7:30.
And so, in answer to your question: Yes. There will definitely be a third series.
