Lady Thrillers Weekends
Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm
Alibi’s tribute to those amateur female detectives that never let the day job get in the way of a good murder investigation continues in November with more Saturday sleuthing.
In Murder, She Wrote, Jessica Fletcher leaves her crime writing on the side to solve more murders in her sleepy hometown of Cabot Cove, Hetty Wainthropp invites us into her batty world of domestic bliss, suburban gossip and gadding about the countryside with her young male muse Geoffrey (Lost’s Dominic Monaghan), and Dame Diana Rigg stars as 1920s divorcee detective, Mrs Beatrice Adela Lestrange Bradley, who uses her charm, wit and deduction in The Mrs Bradley Mysteries.
Then, on Sundays, Alibi’s Lady Thrillers Weekend plays host to the ultimate amateur sleuth, Miss Marple. Joan Hickson stars as the spinster in films The Moving Finger and A Caribbean Mystery.
