Starring Tom Bosley from Happy Days, Father Dowling Mysteries follows the fortunes of a Catholic priest who makes a habit of stumbling into murders, abductions and other high-profile crimes in his hometown of Chicago. Father Dowling is assisted in his crime-solving by Sister Stephanie 'Steve' Oskowski, who does much of the legwork and clue gathering for the Father. A streetwise nun who grew up in a tough housing project in the city, she knows where to look for the best clues and look after herself in dangerous situations.
