Well I feel dudded. Having watched the much-awaited final episode of the last ever series of Deed, we're left up in the air as though there's another series to come. What's with British series these days--saw the same thing with Waking the Dead and Inspector Lynley. Just not fair to leave us with no finish. Such a superb series demanded a much better finish than that.

Unfortunately the BBC just decided recently that there was to be no more Judge John Deed. When they finished Series 6 everyone expected another series to follow which is why there is such an abrupt ending. Everyone should write to the BBC and DEMAND that JJD gets another series. Even Martin Shaw is very disappointed that there is to be no more - it is up to the viewers to make their feelings felt. This wonderful series used to get 6 million viewers an episode something that the BBC could do with these days - I suspect it all comes down to not wanting to spend money
