ah well its to protect the tiny-weenie profits the industry makes... apparently if you logo-mark teh channel, it makes it less attractive to record them, burn them, and sell them as genuine dvd's - i syuspect that's why we never get the end credits in full without being told what's coming next.......OH and while we're at it.. why have we got this suspiciously sracastic thing going on.."Made by the BBC and chosen specially for you by us...".. it's almost insulting..positiviely camply xxxxxy!

I have no problem with the little red dot.

"Silent Witness"! "Shoestring"! "Waking the Dead"! On at decent times on a regular basis!!! I can't believe people on here want to complain about the channel logo.

I quite agree, and also think the Digital On-screen Graphic is too prominant.It's really annoying as it's just visible out of the corner of your eye. I KNOW WHAT STATION I'm WATCHING!! Funny how it's not there during the commercials. I don't expect the advertisers would stand for it.................
Please either do away with the D.O.G alltogether, reduce it in size, change it(how about a magnifying glass? At least that would be partly transparent and fit in nicely with the "theme" of the channel.) or maybe just have it present during the first few minutes of every part.

IF YOU THINK THIS WEE RED DOT IS BAD YOU SHOULD TRY WATCHING ONE OF THE KIDS CHANNELS, WHEN MY KIDS PUT THE DISNEY CHANNEL ON YOU CANT SEE HALF THE ACTORS HEADS IN SOME SHOW THEY EVEN HAVE 3 OR4 ADS ALL OVER THE SCREEN

Iam in total agreement about stupid screen logo's totally spoils the programmes, will not be watching alibi again.

NICE TO HAVE AN ALIBI CHANNEL BUT PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT IRRITATING RED DOT / LOGO. WATCHED INSPECTOR LYNDLEY TONGIHT ON A WIDE SCREEN TV AND THE LOGO WAS RIGHT IN THE ACTION. VERY IRRITATING
WHY CAN'T IT BE TRANSPARENT LIKE THE UK DRAMA LOGO USED TO BE / OR BETTER STILL LETS NOT HAVE ONE AT ALL - I KNOW WHAT CHANNEL I'M WATCHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day the screen will be one big logo and all we will receive is sound.

what is the obsession with these irritating station logos. Its bad enough that they're there at all, but why do they have to be so distracting & prominant.
