What shows do you want to see on UKTV Drama?

Calling all Drama lovers! On UKTV Drama we're continually scouring the archives for neglected gems - but are there any shows we've overlooked that you loved first time round and wouldn't mind seeing again? Let us know!

I would really like to see Down to Earth again, as far as I know it hasn't been repeated and (aside from the first series) was never released on DVD. It had good characters and storylines.

The Sullivans is one of the best dramas to come out of Australia. It was well acted, and had great storylines and characters. It would be wonderful to see it again.

I would also like to see Sex Chips and Rock and Roll again - it's a brilliant drama series that has never been repeated on terrestrial tv. Wonderful story, wonderful cast, and wonderful soundtrack.

There must be loads more but cannot think at the moment. Thank you. Anne. Oh suddenly thought how aboutFoyles War ?? Hug Hug

Here are the ones I would like to see again.

"Never Come Back", 1989 on 1990?? a thriller starring Nathaniel Parker set in 1939, also starring James Fox.

"Mother Love", I can't remember when, late 80s or early 90s.

"First Born" starring Charles Dance, 1988? With an excellent Hans Zimmer score.

I agree with JT Mix, about early nineties Classic "The Bill" episodes.

"The Politicians Wife", in fact Alibi, if you could just go to the IMDb, look up Trevor Eve, and his entire canon of work, if you could put it all on the screen, I for one would be very grateful.

One for GOLD
Classic Doctor Who and maybe Blakes 7?

ALIBI.......

"Bullman", a great show with the late, great Don Henderson.

A series called "The Paradise Club". ISTR it starred Leslie Grantham and Don Henderson.

"Widows"-I think it was Lynda La-Plante's first TV series? I also seem to remember it was excellent!

Please show The Sullivans again, it is perfect for a channel broadcasting quality drama series from UK TV and it is not just a good drama, but very well made historically too.

What about BRASS? I used to love that. Thought Timothy West was brilliant in it. How about Porterhouse Blue with David Jason or A Very Peculiar Practice with Peter Davidson? I wouldn't mind seeing A Blot on the Landscape or the Beiderbeck Affair either

HIPPIE DAVE

A Mind to Kill starring Philip Madoc would be great to see again, Bulman starring Don Henderson, New Scotland Yard from the seventies.Tons of stuff you could show as no longer watch normal tv as full of all this reality rubbish. D

How about putting North and South on over a Bank Holiday weekend? I mean the one with Richard Armitage based on the Elizabeth Gaskell novel not the Patrick Swayze Civil War job.

Well, well, I though I was the only one to remember The Riff Raff Element. I used to love that programme and wasn't the actor who plays Jim in the Vicar of Dibley in it. If I remember he played the dad who never spoke. Develish

I would love to see "The Riff Raff Element". It seems to have disappeared without trace, and it has never been reissued on DVD either.
