'Murdoch Mysteries' returning to Alibi.

Isaw this post around the web maybe 2 wks ago...great news guys, and keep that excellent work up for us viewers to enjoy.Increasing ratings...yeah!Cool

Have always loved Yannick especially since his Sue Thomas days. Love the guy.

But this show has everything, a superb cast/supporting cast, guest stars, behind the scenes...then there is the history, and the added humour with a hint of British too through Thomas Craig...Yep they chose the inspector role pretty well.

Not to sure about the romantic interest though, just have to wait and see!

Murdoch Mysteries

An absolutly swell episode and to top it off Will looks like he's thinking about Julia once again.
I love this series and the characterisations, and we dropped into Victorian jewish community this week...the make-up for the guy who was beaten up was brilliant.

Here's hoping for a 3rd series.

You don't think the show could get any better but it does with each new episode.

I loved the introduction of Enid and her son into the mix, and wiliam seems to connect with her son...how sweet.

This week lets George fly his wings so as to say and play detective with William out of action...great interactions between him and Higgins..and the morgue scene totally blew my socks off Big Grin

Now is Julia regretting what she said to William with more female competion on the scene.

Loved the pjs by the way.

Sorry to say I don't have any info of Jeeves and Wooster music...you might have tried but e mail some of the popular music/dvd websites.

I was thinking of Amazon, Play.com, HMV,WH Smith etc..they might help.

Robert Carli wrote the original score for the series and got a gemini award, which is the canadian version of our BAFTA. Don't know where you can purchase the music...maybe its too soon at present.

An emotional episode. The actors did brilliantly, given the taboo of Victorian society.

Well I'm still reeling from the after effects of it all...very thought provoking.

Koodoos to them all...actors, the writing and production team too. Can you not tell I loved it.

Ah...love is in the air for William. Loved how Will gave Julia a good morning kiss after the so said `experiment`
Her expression was priceless...so sweet of Will. The four characters are slowly developing well, now we need some of George's history.

I love this series as now and again they link in characters from the original books...with Tuesday's episode being Etta from the first book. Will definitly still holds a soft spot for her, and likewise proven by the peck on his cheek.Yep what woman couldn't resist Will's charms...and eyesWink

This 2nd series like the 1st seems is certainly a winner as it progresses.

Murdoch Mysteries

I can't believe we've just seen episode four, truly wonderful...the series is starting to take off.

Brackenreid at his wonderful best;even suggesting to Will he and julia to get out more.Julia's sister added more to this episode, and now I firmly believe julia and Will,to eventually become an item.

Tell the guys in Canada Alibi, I love this series.

Loved this episode. So full of interest. I like the who done it theme to the episode...interesting for the viewer.
Love this show as they bring in all the different gadgets...this week it was the x-ray. I wonder what next week will be?

And as Iden says...a twist at the end. Loved how you had Yannick in a moustache in that final scene...just like William in the books...loved the smirk as he looked into his future Smile

Anyone interested who is not already voting, Yannick Bisson who plays Murdoch is up for a viewers choice award at the gemini awards in Canada, and it us the fans who have our say.
So people get over to the Gemini Awards website, click onto viewers choice and vote for Yannick Bisson as many times as is humanly possible. The vote closes on the 21st November so we aint got much time. Thanks. Big Grin

Murdoch Mysteries

Brilliant to know the show is back. And I agree with people after seeing Glass Ceiling again, Will knew he was being rejected for the inspector post, simply because of his religion.
How unjust is that...?
But it was nice for Brackenreid to ask him to stay.

Thu 28 Aug 2008, 1.55PM

Murdoch Mysteries

If nobody has heard the news our show Murdoch Mysteries is up for nominations in the Gemini awards in Canada. Great news, I think it is up for 13 nominations in different categories.

And thank you Uktv, we are going for repeats in October according to your website. Big Grin

Thu 15 May 2008, 4.35PM

Murdoch Mysteries

Wonderful past few episodes. Sorry I haven't been around for my usual replies. This last episode was more in tune with the british/irish conflict.
Talking of conflicts I felt sorry for Will in that his friend was involved.
Roll on next week ...and we need details of a future dvd release. In the meantime after next week I will have to suffice to my recordings or repeats of this wonderful series...Great stuff Wink

Wed 23 Apr 2008, 10.32AM

Murdoch Mysteries

The case was a bit creepy, but I have a feeling they will come back to the storyline to catch the brother.
I loved the moving scene between Doyle/Murdoch why Doyle was there, not with his dying wife, and Murdoch told him to go home and be with her.

And...the news is filtering through...WOW! a 2nd season.
Congtatulations to all involved in this wonderful show, and to those, with the foresight to give us a green light for another season. Thank you once again.Love it.

Wed 16 Apr 2008, 12.35PM

Murdoch Mysteries

Another wonderful episode.Loved the lie detector scene; Murdoch giving the others a history lesson.
The case had plenty of twists to wrack your brain who did it?
I'm still hoping for renewal of this wonderful show.

Wed 9 Apr 2008, 11.37AM

Murdoch Mysteries

I loved this episode with Murdoch and his boss working side by side on a case.
It was quite a who dunnit.
It must was also amusing watching Brackenreid tell Murdoch what bairns were, as well as showing us Murdoch's compassion when he payed for the burial.

Wed 2 Apr 2008, 5.33PM

Murdoch Mysteries

What a wonderful episode...And yay its back.
And I agree Yannick portrays/acts emotional conflict so well.
There were so many scenes in this episode that I liked but it was the 1st interview Will had with Phillip I felt was so thoughtful/caring,which would be unusual for a policeman in that era.
Well pass my thoughts on to the producers of this wonderful show and hope it continues for some time yet.
Looking forward to next week.

Wed 19 Mar 2008, 7.21PM

Murdoch Mysteries

What do I say. Another great episode full of everything the viewer wants.
There is plenty of conflict in Murdoch's faith as well as in the gay community. Yes I agree with those previous postings. The tennis club scene was great. He did the embarrassed scene so well Embarrassed
And I love the plots which are developing as the series is progressing. But I have to say...I have to wait a full 2 weeks for the next episode. Why?

Wed 12 Mar 2008, 7.49PM

Murdoch Mysteries

Cry This episode was so sad, the viewer now knows William lost his fiancee to TB last year...but Yannick portrayed this sadness and heartache so well.
Oh that final scene...just got to me.

Wed 5 Mar 2008, 4.30PM

Murdoch Mysteries

There was so much humour during this episode. I could have laughed my socks off at ferret up the trouser leg scene Big Grin
I for one feel this show is growing in character development as each episode progresses. Just love it.

Wed 27 Feb 2008, 5.32PM

Murdoch Mysteries

I so agree with Cathyj1. Yannick is so hot. I've followed him over to Murdoch from Sue Thomas Fbeye. Also another great show. The second episode was so much stronger than the pilot.I just love the idea of searching for those clues in 19 th century Toronto.
I could have cried when his promotion was turned down because of his religion. Cry Keep up the good work.

Wed 20 Feb 2008, 12.14AM

Murdoch Mysteries

A great start.Yannick plays this character really well after reading some of the books.Looking forward to great character development from the four leading actors in future episodes. Roll on next week. Wink
