I know i'm a few weeks late with this thread but just wanted to state what a great character don beech is throughly enjoyed the episodes that have recently been shown!! I'd love it if they made a don beech spin off tv show

Not 100% sure but it may have something to do with the school holidays. As during the kids easter hols there was also a break in the show. I maybe wrong but its worth shout if anyone does find out the definate reason please post it Thanks
