Hello, I plan to emigrate to India soon and I'm wondering if anyone knows what variety of apple will withstand temperatures of up to 35 degrees and almost constant sun. Also if a grass variety will flourish, I want to make a lawn. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone help please, Thursday 6.5.2005 I saw a programme showing water features made from metal, they were made to look like plants and really effective. I cannot trace the programme or more important the whereabouts of the man who makes them.

AmandaJs, I did not see the programme but I did see an Australian who makes amazing water features out of copper which look like strelitzia. I don't rember his name, but he exhibited in the Melbourne Flower Show in March/April 2004. Hope this helps

Last week Ithink Tuesday or Wednesday a plant was featured. I was a medium sizedl flowering bush which had very pale bell shaped flowers white or pale yellow
which turned colour during the season and I think ended up darkish red! The presenter raved about this plant saying something like "just toss down a few seeds and in grows real quickly". Name of this plant please.

I had this problem with my last garden and the only way to combat this is to literally hand weed it. It is very invasive as you have found out and I don't think there is anything on the domestic market for this weed.

As soon as you see the weed poking its head up early in the season, pull it out so that it does not have time to spread so much. Good luck!
