We visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan in 2000, on our 1st wedding anniversary.

We had a fantastic time, despite the fact that I was 7 months pregnant at the time, and found some of the hilly bits a bit hard going!

Can't wait to visit again and bring my two little boys!

Fabulous day out.

Sad that all the skills and experience where lost, so many men died and the garden died with them, if they had returned the wealth of knowledge could have been passed onto the future generations, but the work that has been achieved since it's re-discovery is commendable to the people who have worked so hard to restore the gardens, it was wonderful to walk through and from time to time stop, sit and soak the by-gone atmosphere in.

Many thanks for bringing such pleasure.
