I make Scottish Tablet for my business and over the last month there appears to be a distinct change in the richness of evaporated full fat milk. At present I am unable to produce the same product that has been produced by us for 30 years. Anyone else noticed if so please bombard Nestle. Have tried the condensed milk recipe but it is not as good. Frown

Hi Gayle

Am struggling with my recipe at the moment due to a change in Carnation Milk. However I hope to soon be back in production. You can order from me by E.Mail but as I produce for resale to a number of retail shops in London and south east England my recipe is at present a family only one. There are recipes on the internet and Nestle do have one on their website. This uses condensed milk but I find it too hard and a slightly different taste to mine. Good luck

Hi,
Are you allowed to give your website on here?
I, too, would love to order some tablet but live in Barry so nowhere near you or the South East.
Thanks

I too make tablet with evaporated milk rather than condensed milk and find that when I buy Carnation my tablet does not come out quite as well as it used to. As I live in Portugal it is not so easy to buy Carnation, so now I buy Dutch Lady, which seems to work better.
