Your webiste changed yesterday, but I don't find it easier at all to use. I wasted a lot of time trying to find UKTV History, the only free channel I've got.

I've got freeview on my laptops and I would like to know what is on UKTV History.
At the moment I have the find your programmes on other websites which are more user-friendly.

It would be useful to have an option of hiding all the channels I cannot get and save the settings, so every time I visit your website I can easily find the information I need.

DON'T ANSWER ME THEN!!!! I demand to know the name of the person who devised your subtitling policy! I'm sick of trying to watch programmes that were subbed the last time I watched them on your channel and finding that the next one or more of the series isn't! Doyou think it's funny to treat deaf people this way.

I would really like to know if UKTVGOLD will keep showing EastEnders after christmas as it seems to stop over the xmas period?

I've been an avid viewer of the new format of Top Gear from the second series and never tire of the repeats you seem to endlessly show on UKTV G2 & UKTV People. I do have one question, however. I was reading on the Internet that the first series of the new format, which I didn't see, featured a presenter called Jason Dawe rather than James May but I've never seen him in the repeats you show. Do you not have the rights to the first series? If you don't, it's a shame as I didn't watch that one when originally broadcast and would like to.

Also, why does UKTV G2+1 only begin broadcasting at 6pm rather than running all day like G2 does?

What is it with that stupid prgramme Murder She Wrote.? Everywhere I look it is on UKtv. this morning its on Gold AND Drama at 8.00am then repeated all day every day.Bay Watch is another one. I thought it was UK TV not American rubbish.

Is there a reason why the Michael Palin programmes (e.g. Pole to Pole and Around the World in 80 Days) currently airing on UKTV Documentary are being shown with the episodes all out of sequence? I've given up watching as it's so frustrating!

Can I make a request to the programme planners, would you consider showing the 80's scifi series "The Tripods" as it has never been repeated since the original showing on the BBC currently only series one is available to buy and there are many fans who would love to see it again.

I am a big fan of UKTV especially UKTV History, but on several occasions the person announcing the next programme starts to announce the next programme whilst the previous prog is still in full flow, sometimes with 2 or 3 minutes still to go. It has just happened on UKTV History +1 whilst the "Coast" prog was on (22.58 Wed 27th Dec). Could you please try and avoid this happening as it can totally destroy the enjoyment of what would otherwise be a fantastic prog.

I would like to ask all of you out there whether you're experiencing viewing problems with all of the UKtv channels?

I've had Sky out to my house 4 times now who have given me a whole new system yet still my pictures are freezing and pixelating on all of the UKtv channels.

Can anyone from UKtv reply to this? I've tried to email UKtv but it was returned undelivered

I have had the same problem for a few weeks now and, from looking at various web forums, it appears that this is a big problem for many people.

A suggestion has been made that UKTV has a transponder problem as the problem is not present on the +1 hour channels which use a different transponder.

Either UKTV have a fault or else they have too many channels on the 1 transponder.

Please UKTV, if you read these postings, can you check the transponder for faults or else get a new transponder and split the channels between the 2? It is really annoying to have the sound and picture break up every few minutes, 24 hours a day, EVERYDAY!!!

Also, it appears that many of us are emailing info@uktv.co.uk and getting our emails returned. Can you correct this also? It really appears that you do not want to have people contact you, in which case, please remove the email address.

I have had serious problems with all UKTV channels with the sound and picture freezing and jumping. it's now so bad I no longer watch the channels much as it's too anoying. UKTV never respond to comments so clearly hold viewers in contempt. It would be intresting to know how many viewers they are losing. surely advertisers can't be happy wih fewere viewers?

I have had the same problem thank goodness someone else has raised the same points.
At first I thought it was my sky box (amstrad drx 100) yes I know it is old but I only get the same problems on "All" of the uk tv chanels.
I tried to contact them but no joy and the problem has persisted over the last 2 weeks
I read somwhere that UK TV are putting too many chanels on the one sat transponder that they are losing quality. You would think they monitored their output as these chanals are totally unwatchable

Just tried to email uktv and like many others I just received a delivery failure message. So much for them wanting viewer feedback!

As per usual, Christmas entertainment from the UKTV channels were nothing short of disgraceful. how many times are we going to see Only Fools favorite Moments.
As if constant repeats aren't bad enough, you show them at least twice on Both uk Gold and UK Gold +1 channel everyday
and the final kick in the teeth for your PAYING CUSTOMERS.Xmas weekend 2006, films were not only the same day but also the next day. call this value for money??

Regarding the output quality from UKTV affecting us all and the returned emails issue, I have sent an email to UKTV.

I felt that was appropriate since returned emails are a "communications" issue!

IF UKTV don't read this message page then lots of email may make them sit up and take notice of the lowly viewer.

Thanks for your messages about our service quality - since before Christmas we've had everyone in our transmission chain involved in a very lengthy exercise to try and identify where the issue is. We have also been viewing and monitoring all the channels and have identified that these problems seem to depend on how you are watching our channels - it seems to be related to the equipment you're using rather than a transponder problem (although we are aware it is only affecting one of our two transponders).
Happily, it seems that most viewers are not being significantly affected by this issue BUT we know that those who are affected are badly affected - this issue is now our top priority in engineering and we are working as hard as we can to resolve it as soon as possible.
Thanks again for keeping us informed - hopefully this issue won't carry on for much longer.
