Hi Harcon,

Why dont you make your own?... You can now buy ready stretched canvus - paint with a complimentary colour - then find material which you love - you can go for really expensive ones as you only need a small sample - and then using material glue - glue these to the surface - might be wise to seal the painted surface first using UPVA glue watered down... - or attach to the frame using a staple gun...

Alternatively buy sari marterial in the right colours - attach a peg to the wall - a wooden kitchen roll works well and then drape the material over it in the form of a tester - or attach two one each side of the bed and drape the fabric...

Hope this gives you ideas

Hi Harcon
I can see a big print of a single tropical flower over the beds, but difficulties in getting it there. You could paint one on silk, or substitute a large square scarf in appropriate colours. Try Tie Rack or similar. This would take up hardly any room in your packing.

I am surprised you cannot source this locally there. Don't they paint?

I am thinking about putting in a small en suite.
What would be the smallest size to fit in a loo, basin and shower?ChrisR

Hi ChrisR,

It will all depend on the shower unit and whether you want it to be a power shower (better for resale)... but you need less space than you think to fit everything in.

I recently went to a b&b where the on-suite was quite small - just enough room to go pass the sink sideways... and was only as wide as the shower tray - but it was all wonderfully finished to a very high standard and extremely well lit - which made up for the lack of space but I had to leave the door open to the bedroom when in the shower to get over the sense of claustraphobia...

If you were to put in an en-suite that small you will have to consider vetilation as a prority if you did not want damp and mould to become an issue.

Hi,

I have just bought a condo and it has exceptionally ugly glass sliding doors everywhere. What can I do to re hab these cheaply or not so cheaply.
I would really appreciate your help. I live in the USA so some of the products may be different.

HOMES AND PROPERTY

Hiya ... I seem to have missed ur programmes since seeing one for the first time and loving it. Would love to know when u're on next and how can I find the suppliers you mention in ur programme. I logged onto this site but cannot find, for the life of me, where the information is. I would like to know the bathroom warehouse in Stanstead (I think that's where u said it was) and the tile place. Please please write and let me know. Keep up the great work.
