Just wanted to show my support for this show, shame they've lost a few good members in the recent series. Also I'd just like to shamlessly promote the new DIY SOS forum, it's a little thread bear at the moment but waiting for everyone to log in and discuss the one the only DIY SOS!!!

Hello.........
I have discovered your show recently, and have to tell you that I have NEVER seen a DIY show that comes close to rivaling yours ! Wink ( I came to England from Festus, Missouri to marry a British man ), and the states need a program like this one ! Nick is a hunk, and the whole concept really works well, and the fun ya'll have seems genuine . Big Grin
I'd also like to ask for the teams help. The guy I married has been a single dad for soooooooooooooo long, that the house is the most run down, bachelor looking place, and with him working nights, he just can't get the time or energy to shape this place up..... Cry I have tried recently to do a couple of improvements myself, but truth told, it is still a disaster zone. Eek Soooooooooooooooooo, please help save my marriage to Mr. not-handy-at-all Roll Eyes , and come play in my house ?
Please and Thanks Hug Hug Hug

I would love for Nick and his team to help me with some DIY. With a baby on the way, time is just not on my side, and I still need to do the bathroom and replace the floor.

Mazeh,

If you don't know where to begin call a builder. You probably shouldn't Do It Yourself. I would hate to think what the bill would be for the diy sos team. You could however enroll in a DIY course at your local college.

DIY SOS is the greatest diy programme there has ever been everyone has a great sense of humour the jobs they do are outstanding and when they do jobs for disabled people, and childrens groups the tears of joy are real a rare thing to see thesedays.

Thank goodness for DIYSOS recently. It's not getting MY extension done - subtle hint to the team Develish - but it's got the type of humour that we need at 9 o'clock in the evening.
Thanks Smile

I love DIY programmes but do not like all the giggling and play fighting amongst themselves -- I would prefer more focus on the DIY jobs they are doing - sometimes it is more of a comedy show than a learning/teaching programme, which isn't why I was watching.

To all those that ask about being on the show, if you look on the BBC website you will clearly see the application form in the DIYsos section.
