Hi Anji, the spindles for my staircase were welded yesterday (yippee). I have just been out in the garden to give them the first coat of paint - now I have to wait for that to dry so I can sand down the drips LOL
I know that when you spray something you are supposed to do several light coats - but that takes tooooo long (I have waited long enough).
Hopefully Husband will fit them at the weekend and then all I need is the carpet and it is finished. This has got to be the longest hallway makeover in history but at least the end is near now.
