I am searching for sari material to use in my bedroom. I have searched where I live and Cannot find any or anything that comes close to it. If anyone knows where I can get some - preferably mail order if possible - I would be really grateful. Thanks

This may already be too late, but today I stumbled across a shop in my local town which sold all sorts of sari fabric and co-ordinatinf tab top curtains and cushion covers with small circular mirrors on them...absolutely gorgeous, and so cheap. I checked with the assistant and she tells me they even have a website, I haven't visited it yet, but you may wish to try...

There's a fab shop in Swansea called Good Habit which sells all sorts of lovely fabrics including Indian ones. I've been into Plymouth several times - is there nothing available from the indoor market there? I don't have the phone no forGood habit but it will be available from directory enquiries but call from a call box as it's free!

I go to brick lane in london but if you cannot make it for the day have you got a local shop that is run by an indian lady or the local indian takeaway ask them. That is how I found out about brick lane before that I went to Dartford. I pay from 5 for the one colour ones but I stencil on them to tart them up. I have also snagged a few from the local charity shops. If one comes in they phone me :D hope this helps lesley
