Hi! Have just about finished revamping my house and have now got to the bathroom. I have used tile paint (excellent!) to brighten the tiles and also the cistern of the toilet which was an awful public toilet black (yuck!).
My problem now is the bath - it was originally enamelled but over the years of wear and tear it's disappearing.
I did see on a big strong girls programme (a long time ago on UK Style) a product that you could use to re-enamel your bath yourself.
Does anyone know where I can get this from - all I can remember about it is that it's mail order.

We have just done our bathroom up and got rid of the old (green) suite and replaced it with a white one - the bath we bought has a special carronite coating on it and is guarantee for 50yrs - very sturdy and safe

my daughter used that stuff it was quite easy to use although it did take time but well worth the effort. She did look in the yellow pages at getting it reenamelled and the prices really varied. So if that is one of your options do phone around. lesley

My tip is to look in the free ads as there are often people who are changing perfectly good enamel white baths for a new one - or repo roll top etc who just want rid... or try architectural salvage who often have a whole stock of baths to replace yours...
