could anyone tell me what ESP is? I was told to use it before I paint some tired old 70's bathroom tiles!
:confused

Hi Diz, and welcome to the boards.
I had this same problem, if you go to page two, and look under painting tiles (third one down at the moment). You should find lots of helpful advise. Smile

Extra Sensory Perception? (Sorry, I couldn't resist!) Wink

And Tilley is right - there's loads of advice under that particular section.

Hi Diz, I have never used esp before (I don't trust the idea of not having to sand things down!!!) but I know that you can buy it in Homebase for 10. But as you want to paint over tiles I think you would be better using the tile primer (by International) also available from Homebase etc.

I was browsing in Focus the other day and saw they did paint for tiles that said didnt need a primer - worth looking at if you can find it...

I have watched lots of make-over programmes where ESP has been used to great effect... but with any work in enclosed spaces you should be using goggles and a face mask in any case...

Hmmm... I come in here all ready to make my "extra sensory perception" joke... only to find someone else has got there first!!!

And a UK style host at that - and there was me thinking I had a monopolised obvious humour on this board.

Max, I know Jill expressed worries about you - so do I...

Max,

Much respect for someone with a passion for cheap jokes and a highly predictable nature!
