I'm considering putting mosaic tiles on the inside of my shower enclosure however a plumber recommended using marine board (ply?). Has anybody used this and if so what do you think about it? Which gives a nicer finish - the mosaic tiles of the marine board?

hi, i think your plumber meant marine ply to put the mosaics on. marine ply is just treated so it wont rot and let water into the wall, causing all sorts of problems in the future. you should allways use treated wood in a wet atmosphere to prevent these problems occuring. marine ply looks just like normal ply, so make sure you get the right one. hope this helps
